Itinerary Overview
On this "Imperial Journey", you will embark on a journey to explore the lives and beliefs of Chinese emperors. In-depth visit to Beijing's three iconic symbols of imperial power-the Forbidden City and the Ming Tombs, to learn how Chinese emperors govern the country, pray for destiny, and their final destination. This is the 1 cultural journey through time and space, taking you into the depths of the history of China's feudal dynasties and experiencing the majesty and mystery of imperial power.
Schedule:
Morning:
8:00 AM: Depart from the hotel to the Forbidden Palace, Beijing's most magnificent imperial palace. As the residence of Chinese emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Forbidden City is not only a 1 architectural masterpiece, but also a window to understand the life, politics and culture of Chinese emperors. You will visit the emperor's chambers, court halls and imperial gardens to learn about their daily life and governance.
Noon:
12:00 PM: After visiting the Forbidden City, enjoy lunch at a nearby Chinese restaurant and taste authentic Beijing cuisine to replenish energy for the afternoon trip.
Afternoon:
1:30 PM: After lunch, head to the Ming Tombs on the outskirts of Beijing
2:30 PM: Visit to the Ming Tombs begins. This is the resting place of thirteen Ming emperors. You will visit the best preserved Dingling Tombs, go deep into the underground palace, and visit the final destination of the emperor. The tour guide will explain the culture and beliefs behind the layout and construction of the mausoleum, and show you the glory and mystery of the ancient Chinese emperors before and after their death.
Evening:
5:30 PM: After visiting the Ming Tombs, a special bus will take you back to the hotel to end this full and meaningful imperial tour.
